– How was using the camera?

Using the camera for the first time was not as hard as I expected. However finding the right and perfect camera angles and shots was the more difficult task. While recording the camera must be steady and placed at the right place to make the scene being shot as professional as possible. When using the caemera its best to be creative by using a variety of camera angles as possible to keep viewers entertained and to reduce how boring the trailer would be to watch.

-How did you decide who should do what?

With using the camera we decided to choose the one whos most confident and with a steady hand for shots that would be difficult to do with a tripod.  In our group we all did sections of the trailer and all had a go with the camera which we were all confident with as shown in the pictures.

-How was the tripod used? What are your thoughts on it?

The tripod was used on scenes where the camera required to be still. The tripod itself had its disadvantages and advantages such as for me I found it quite restrictive at times. This is because it hard to move physically in case there was a need to in a part of the trailer. However it had its advantages like it was very flexible as the camera can be moved freely yet keep a good posture. A tripod would be good for pan movement shots. Furthermore I would say that the tripod is very flexible as yu can move the tripod as well as the camera to meet the satisfaction of the scene and what you are recording. By me using the tripod gave my trailer a more professional look so I will definitely be using the tripod for parts of my trailer.

-What worked well and what did you have difficulties with?

The areas that worked well with our filming was how the video camera was very easy to use itself as well recording and cropping out the clips.  Other areas that worked well during filming was where we filmed and who filmed what. Everyone at the end of our filming practise knew how to use a tripod and how to set the video camera to suit scenes the best. We also had some difficulties such as placing the video camera onto the tripod and filming from awakwards positions such as between trees to get the best shot and angles to make our trailer look good.
